Versalift Northwest – The States We Serve
Vehicle mounted aerial lifts by Versalift: American built since 1965.
Washington –
The 42nd state in the Union, Washington is home to nearly 7 million Americans. The birthplace of some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including Microsoft, Amazon and Boeing, Washington state is the most populous state in the Pacific Northwest and has a diverse economy driven by aerospace, software and lumber. Washington is the most northwestern state in the Continental United States and covers nearly 76,000 square miles, producing a bounty of agricultural products including apples, berries, dairy products and seafood. Versalift Northwest supports those organizations that maintain and manage forests, electric utility systems and telecommunications grids across the state by assembling, upfitting and delivering the safest and most reliable bucket trucks, cable placers and digger derricks available today.
Oregon –
The great American state of Oregon has a population of more than four million people, and covers more than 100,000 square miles. The majority of the state’s population lives within an hour or two of the Pacific coast, but the state of Oregon is well known for its huge tracts of forested land. Timber, lumber and paper are important industries to the state, as is agriculture. Oregon’s Public Utility Commission oversees telecommunications and electric power utilities, among other services for consumers, and performs the function of setting rules, ensuring competition, benchmarking and establishing pricing guidelines. Interestingly, the Federal government owns more than 50% of Oregon’s acreage: the six National Parks in Oregon cover the majority of this land, attracting nearly one million visitors each year, and they generate significant direct and indirect economic impact on the state.
Idaho –
With a population of nearly 1.7 million people, the great state of Idaho covers more than 84,000 square miles. Electric utility is provided to people and organizations by multiple IOUs and cooperatives in the state, the largest of which is Idaho Power, which provides electrical power to more than a half million families and businesses in Southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon. The state is home to seventeen hydroelectric projects on the Snake River, which contribute to some of the nation’s lowest prices for electric power. Manufacturing is the largest economic driver in Idaho, and lumber is a top manufactured product. As a result, forestry and tree care are major industries that require the use of bucket trucks in the state. The Idaho Department of Lands and the US Forest Service are responsible for the stewardship of public lands, while Idaho’s private forests are managed by their owners.
Montana –
Versalift Northwest serves its customers in the great state of Montana by providing them with bucket trucks, digger derricks and cable placers. Major economic drivers in Montana include mineral extraction, timber, agriculture and tourism. While the state is sparsely populated, with one million people across its nearly 150,000 square miles, it is home to mineral rich deposits that drive the mining and oil extraction industries. Wheat is a major cash crop in Montana, while lumber and timber are an important industry to the economy of the state as well.
Wyoming –
Being the tenth largest state in the union and having the smallest state population, Wyoming is most commonly known for its famous national parks. Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park are the state’s most famous parks, which bring approximately seven million visitors to visit each year, and drive more than $700 million in economic impact for the state. Despite Wyoming’s natural splendor, it’s main economic driver is mineral extraction, including coal, natural gas and oil. Tourism and agriculture contribute significantly to Wyoming’s economy. Wind energy is a growing industry in the state, which is well suited to it due to its altitude and geography. Versalift Northwest provides bucket trucks to electric utility, telecommunications, mineral extraction and wind turbine maintenance organizations in Wyoming and across the Pacific Northwest.
